Off the clock, she’s jet-setting, whipping up amazing dishes, practicing yoga, and expanding in literature. She cherishes time with her loved ones and makes sure her patients feel like family.
With a sharp eye for detail and a creative edge, Dr. Cho went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Dentistry in 2015. She is certified in oral and nitrous oxide sedation, ensuring even the most anxious patients feel relaxed, supported, and genuinely cared for.
When she’s not perfecting smiles, you’ll find Dr. Cho traveling, flowing through yoga, or painting—because great dentistry, like great art, is all about balance.

Derek was born in Ottawa, Ontario and moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba when he was a toddler, making him a certified prairie boy. He brings that small town sincerity, patience and kindness to all aspects of his practice. Dr. Chung is the visionary behind the elevated Paste experience.
Dr. Derek Chung obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Manitoba. He also completed a degree in dental research, focused on dental whitening. Upon graduation, Dr. Chung then continued his training at the University of Western Ontario, where he completed his General Practice Residency. This has provided Dr. Chung with the foundation towards understanding the formal technical skills required to best serve his patients and their oral health needs.
After years of working in a group practice in Toronto, Dr. Chung envisioned something different. He envisioned an elevated, sustainable dental experience where every aspect of a patient’s experience was thoughtfully curated. By creating a dental office where every aspect of the visit is intentional and thoughtful, he helps his patients reach their oral health goals with less stress, pressure and anxiety.
Dr. Chung’s greatest skill is his sincere interest and passion in creating the best experience for his patients. His friendly and understanding nature allows him to provide a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere so his patients get the best dental experience possible.
